Returning to the Heart

Be where your Heart is.  Put your mind right back where your Heart is.  Your Heart is in your physical body.  Your Heart chakra is also in your physical body.

It is your mind that strays away, not the Heart, never the Heart.

People may say, “I’m here but my Heart is somewhere else”.  Nonsense! Stand where you are and place your hand on your chest.  That is where you Heart truly is.

The mind will wonder into expectation for the future, yearning for the present to be different or reminiscing memories from the past.  But your Heart is right here with you at all times. 

Do not confuse the wishes of the mind with the longings of the Heart.  Your Heart longs for you to be right here right now with it. 

Do not abandon it.  Your mind may want to be somewhere else but trust that you are where you are needed to be and your Heart is always right there with you.

Perhaps, the only reason we have a physical body is so that we have a place to keep our Heart safe like a locket and not lose it when the mind is so busy going from one place to another.  

Perhaps, the whole purpose of our breath is to bring the mind back to the Heart, to unite them in holy matrimony so that them may be together forever honoring and loving each other.

So, right here, right now, take a deep breath and bring your mind back to the love of your Heart.

Organic.... Feeling the human in me

There is a Heart that beats with harmonious rhythm.
There is a mind that thinks in subtle patterns.
There is an energy that is connected to an electrifying life force.
In the middle of it, I AM an organic machine that loves, thinks and feels.
I am sure of my presence. I am sure of my form. But who AM I really without all this working through me?
Would I ever let it go? Would I ever let it reign?
Would I ever let it be in balance and harmony with each element running through my cells?

As long as I love, as long as I love, as long as I love... As long as I love everything is A-OK.

Impulse and the Heart

Impulses are ideas that come from the innocence of the heart and the innocence of the heart is an aspect of the soul.  Impulses are ideas that the soul has about the things it would like to experience next.  The soul says: “This! I would love to experience this”. The thing is, that impulses are great as ideas only, they are not so good when we act them out “impulsively” because the right conditions or resources or wisdom to carry them out may not be available yet. 

I wanna belly dance!

This is when our logic side should come in but not to stop us from doing it but to find out what is needed in order to experience that idea with the same good feeling as when the idea was born.  So, don't get worked up about not having the right conditions, resources or wisdom to make the dream of your heart a reality now.  But, have your eyes, heart and intuition open for when the right resources appear. 

In the meantime, put all the dreams you would love to experience but don't have the necessary things to make them happen, inside a drawer in your heart until you get what you need... and just trust.

Fading In and Out

The heart said: go ahead, speak and bare this soul.

There is a feeling hidden deep inside me. It comes out as I type the words that I sense they are.  As my eyes read them, tears of tenderness start rolling down my cheeks. When my lips speak them out loud, my ears let my heart listen to what the soul has just said and the heart rejoices.  The translation of the feeling of my soul may not be exact but the heart knows it’s full of love anyway and it is grateful to have me as a conduit of their communication.  My heart says, “It is perfect! Now go out and tell the world how much we love each other.”

As they both communicate, I fade away, as they both communicate, I fade away…
