Fly, Fly Empath Butterfly

There is no age, there is only maturity.
There is no need to force your growth,
There is no need to force your healing.
There is no need to force your awakening.

My husband set up a habitat net for butterflies inside our home and it was a wonderful experience.

My biggest take away was when the butterfly came out and did not fly right away.  It flapped its wings a few times but to me the movements were more like reflexes just like newborn babies.  I was able to put an offering of fruit and honey inside but still did not fly to the plate. Just moved a bit on the branch to step away from the chrysalis.  It wasn't until almost 3 hours later that it flew away.  I got to witness it and it was beautiful!

It came to me that it flew away only when it was ready to do so.  It wasn't early, it wan't late. It was perfect timing.  When it was ready.

It made me think about people who put to much pressure on themselves getting ready to launch something new or something bigger in their life.

There is a natural order that flows within us.  Discernment is needed to know we are ready to fly so that we do not overlook that opportunity because having wings to fly is something we must take full advantage of.  BUT, we have to allow ourselves to be ready.  Therefore, discernment is also applied before we are ready to fly.  We discern by feeling how we are unfolding, how we are progressing, how we are growing and maturing because it builds confidence and trust so that we are not afraid to take the opportunity to fly once we are ready for it.  The bottom line is, you have to know yourself so that you know when is a good time to create foundations and when those foundations are strong enough to build on top. Your decisions should be based on what is going on inside you so you must learn how to discern what is going on within you.

I want to speak specially directly to Empaths, because we are energy sensitive beings.  One of the biggest challenges as Empath is feeling energy that has not materialized yet.  It is like trying to describe things we find in a room that is completely dark! We specialize in feeling what is intangible and unseen so even we can get confused because we can sense something that does not exist in the material realm yet but it does in energy form and as it comes closer the feeling intensifies but because we cannot see or touch we can focus in the absence of it instead and because the feeling of the energy is strong, we think there is something wrong inside of us that needs to be healed or unblocked. Ask me how I know and more importantly ask me how I overcame that!

Truly, this happens to everyone but Empaths are more sensitive to energy and the intensity of it can make us feel as if we need fixing when everything is actually arriving at its own and perfect time. So our practice is to release our focus from the material absence of it and trust that what we sense does exist in energy form and put our focus there instead.

Seeing this little butterfly just RESTING in place, not bothered by anything happening around her made me see clearly that it is true! There is something we all have within that guide us to our next step in life and as humans we should learn and practice how to feel it so that we flow harmoniously with that nature, our true nature.

You Are Never Left Stranded!

It’s been a hard year for a lot of people and my intention with the following story is to encourage you to cultivate faith and trust because you are important and so is your life.

Even at our worst, we are never left stranded. It may feel as if it is hard to get back on our feet but we are always given what we need to move forward and thrive. Our job is to align with the Universe/God/Source to achieve it and it’s a good thing that we don’t have to do these hard things on our own. There is a greater force guiding us always. All we have to do is align with it and we would hear it guiding us loud and clear. No, you do not have to be psychic, shaman, medium or such to do to hear guidance. Intuition is available to everyone who makes the commitment to cultivate it. It is not a paranormal phenomenon, in fact, it is as normal as the breath you take because it is actually connected with every breath you take and it is provided to you in amazing ways! All you have to do is cultivate it like cultivating a loving relationship; with your Heart at the center of it.

Back in May I had a dream that showed me a water stream coming out of a small crater and the stream would flow in the air but without spilling any water and will flow across straight into another crater.

It was explained to me in the dream that this was how the never ending source of abundance flows. Knowing where it came from, never losing its form and knowing where it is going. It was a good example of how humans are capable to function, never losing sight of who we truly are and how much we can achieve. At the end of the dream I was taken to a car dealership to get a car and when I woke up I wrote down the dream describing what the dealership looked like.

Early this month my car broke down beyond repair. I bought it brand new in 2006 but wear and tear aged it too much. I was very concerned about not getting a loan to get another car because I was turned down twice last year. Well, by now I trust the messages I receive in my dreams and meditation. They have led me to wonderful experiences. So, I aligned myself with the vision and message from the stream in my dream trusting that it will take me to the dealership that has my car. In addition, I created an affirmation to strengthen my alignment:

“I always have wheels to move forward. I always have the will to move forward. I trust God will put me in the vehicle of my growth“

Because it is very true for me, God/Universe/Source has never left me stranded and I have always shown willingness to move forward no matter how difficult the situation was and I know in my Heart that we are always provided with the right vehicle for our journey. In my experience, I have found that affirmations work better when they are inclusive and when you can bring out of you a real feeling from previous experiences lived that let you see that what you want has already been in your life all along, so when you make the affirmation you recognized you are not disconnected from what you want. It solidifies the process!

Just last week, I happened to mentioned the situation of with my broken car to someone wonderful I met this year and she actually knew someone at a dealership she could referred me to and because I aligned myself already with the vision of the stream of abundance and my affirmation I didn’t hesitate anymore. I made the call and everything went smoothly from the beginning, got pre-approved and went to see the cars available at my budget. As soon as I pulled into the dealership I got the same feeling from the dream. It looked the same as what I saw it in my dream. The car was there, waiting for me. The vehicle of my growth. It fit me like a glove!
It’s a long story I know but some of you know what I’m talking about so I want to encourage you to continue on your path because you are worth it and it is worth being in this amazing spiritual journey. For the rest of you, consider this your invitation to discover life in true alignment with the great source of infinite abundance, infinite connections, infinite experiences. I am sharing my stories and processes and may they uplift and inspire you learn more about what you can achieve from cultivating a relationship with yourself, God/Universe/Source and the world.
May you be happy
May you be healthy
May you be loved
May you be at peace

What about that Inner Critic?

Instead of fighting your inner critic why not just befriend it?

We can be too hard on ourselves because we don’t know how to just hang out with ourselves.
Like that best friend from childhood. We didn’t judge them, we loved them.
Be friendly.
Be your best friend.
Just hang out with yourself and enjoy your own company.
Let yourself make any decisions and grow at your own pace.
Extend yourself that kind of treatment, that kind of friendship and love.

Imagine a judge entering the courtroom. While he is behind that bench and wearing that coat he will perform his duty to enforce all laws he has the authority to enforce. However, as soon as he is finished he will step down the bench, take the coat off and go home. Let me ask you, who do you think he is after he goes home? How does he behave? What does he do?

Now, consider this, during our childhood we were constantly being judged. Our behavior, our development, our expression, our critical thinking, etc. We were praised to continue with what we were doing or criticized to stop what we were doing and even punished in many cases or even abused in some unfortunate cases. The point is, judgment was constant.

Something I learned from my experiences as a healer is that the subconscious mind does not know how to discern. That is the job of the conscious mind, and we must train it to do so. The subconscious mind records automatically based on repetition of experiences and then just runs what was programmed there. Situations we encounter triggers us to hit the play button of an specific programming and if we have not trained our conscious mind how to discern, the subconscious mind will just run the whole show, but when we engage a well discerning conscious mind we can stop ourselves from repeating patterns of behavior that could be unhealthy. So what happens is, because we lived through so much judgment during our childhood, our mind understands that there's got to be a judge always present, so even if all the people who judged you as a child were to leave your life, the way they judge you was already programmed in you, so a part of yourself takes the role of that judge.

I have said in my sessions before, "The punished, becomes the punisher and the abused becomes the abuser". And you may not feel like you punish others or abused others, but chances are, your subconscious mind will apply that programing on yourself. You may be doing a very conscious effort not to treat others the way you were treated in your childhood but it becomes more difficult when we attempt NOT to punish or abused ourselves because we cannot separate the judge from the one who is being judge inside of us.
Something that helps me tremendously is to separate myself into different parts. Truly, we are composed by many, many elements. Our cells, organs, emotions, conscious, subconscious, soul... "Many are One and One are Many" It is actually a Buddhist approach. It helps because you can notice in your body how there is a part of you judging you but there is another part of who who suffers because of this self-judgment AND there is even a BIGGER part of you who knows the Judge is wrong!

So, I wrote this not to tell you that you have become your own worst enemy but to tell you that you do not need to continue to be at war with yourself. You do not need to defend yourself from the inner judge and you do not have to fight back or attack it either. The great news I want to share with you is that the judge inside you was never originally a judge. It was just assigned that role by the repetitive patters of judgment you experienced in your early life. Just like the Judge in the courtroom who wears the black coat and sits behind the bench to perform his duty. However, remember, when the judge in the courtroom goes home, he stops being the judge and becomes someone else. In the same manner, that part in us that was assigned as the inner judge has a more pure origin. It is this purity that we should seek to discover. We can actually disarm and return the inner critic to it's purity by recognizing it is present and becoming consciously lighter with ourselves, more kind, gentle and if possible, doing the opposite of what it is suggesting so that we stop punishing or abusing ourselves. With that we start sending the message to that part of ourselves that was assigned as the judge to be off duty, to be itself, its true self. It is even possible to consciously be its best friend. Love it, instead of blaming, like that best friend in our childhood. Acknowledge its presence and just hang out with it. With the constant practice of taking it off duty, you will discover its true purpose and gift for your life. You will actually get to know a more free version of yourself.

Imagine the relief and peace in that! Free at last!!!
